Cheesy 80s wedding pasties!

I was contacted by my favourite local baker, Auntie Loo from Auntie Loo’s Treats, to make a set of cheesy 80s pasties for an upcoming gig. My mind immediately went to lace, pearls and tulle, and this is what I came up with:

I hope they’re a big hit at her next performance! If you’re in Ottawa and find yourself on Bronson wanting a snack, head on down to her shop and pick up a snacky cake. My favorites are the walnut coffee cake slices – so good! Tell her I sent ya!

CURD 2012!

Good friend and amazing artist, Emily, contacted me on behalf of CURD to do some custom buttons for their upcoming rally. She designed an amazing poster, and based the button images off of it. I had a few misfires with the new supplies, but I threw in a handful of extras to make up for it. That’s part of the charm of things that are made by hand! Anyway, I hope they like them! I think they turned out awesome!
