I rarely do concept sketches since I prefer to develop ideas as they come to me while I’m working, but I did a few for the Black Dahlia and the orchid commissions. I think it definitely helped convey what I was thinking to my clients, and I’m really happy they turned out exactly as I saw them in my head.
